Feed The Animals

    Do you love farm animals as much as we do? Become best friends with our animals by giving them some treats.

    Caution: Animals can bite, use caution and supervise children. Always wash your hands after being around animals. Animals carry germs.

LAURA'S FARM STAND TERMS AND CONDITIONS & SAFETY WAIVER
Location: Laura’s Farm Stand, 5684 County Rd 27, Cookstown
By purchasing a ticket and entering Laura’s Farm Stand, you (the "Participant") acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions and Safety Waiver:
1. Non-Refundable Ticket Sales
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather, personal schedule conflicts, or failure to comply with farm rules.
2. Assumption of Risk
The Participant acknowledges that visiting a farm involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Uneven terrain, mud, or natural obstacles
Contact with farm animals, which may bite, scratch, or exhibit unpredictable behaviour
Exposure to pollen, allergens, or insects such as bees
Risk of injury from farm equipment or structures
By entering the premises, the Participant assumes all risks associated with participation in farm activities, including but not limited to picking flowers and pumpkins, interacting with farm animals, engaging with play structures and consuming food and beverages.
3. Animal Health & Hygiene Warning
Farm animals may carry germs that can make people sick, even if they appear healthy. By entering animal areas or interacting with animals, Participants accept this risk and should wash or sanitize their hands after contact with animals, fencing, feed buckets, or animal-area surfaces, and before eating or drinking.
4. Liability Waiver
Laura’s Farm Stand, its owners, employees, volunteers, and affiliates (the "Farm") shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death resulting from participation in activities at the Farm. The Participant agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless the Farm from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from their visit, including those caused by negligence.
5. Dog Policy
The Farm is dog-friendly; however, all dogs must be on a leash at all times.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is friendly to other dogs and people.
Any incidents involving aggressive or uncontrolled dogs may result in removal from the property.
The Farm is not responsible for any injuries or damages caused by dogs on the premises.
6. Emergency Situations
In case of an emergency, call 911 and notify farm staff immediately. First aid is available on-site, but the Farm is not responsible for providing medical care beyond basic first aid.

WARNING: under Ontario law, an Agritourism provider is not liable for the death or injury or illness of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if that injury or death or illness results from the inherent risks of that agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to land, equipment and animals as well as the potential for you as a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.

Acknowledgment & Agreement
By purchasing a ticket and entering the premises, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and the Safety Waiver. The Participant also acknowledges that they are voluntarily participating in activities at Laura’s Farm Stand at their own risk.
